Eligibility

UTET-I (Classes 1–5): Senior Secondary (12th) with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-year B.El.Ed or 2-year Diploma in Special Education. OR Graduation + B.Ed. with 50% marks (must complete a 6-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education within 2 years). OR 12th with 45% marks + D.El.Ed as per NCTE norms. UTET-II (Classes 6–8): Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed or 1-year B.Ed (50% marks in Graduation) or 1-year B.Ed (Special Education). OR 12th with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed or B.A./B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation with 45% marks + 1-year B.Ed as per NCTE norms. Additional Notes: Candidates in the final year of qualifying courses are eligible. Knowledge of Hindi is preferred.
